What is the Uni-1 API?
Uni-1 is Luma's multimodal reasoning image model, built on Unified Intelligence architecture. It combines image understanding and generation in a single system, handling both text-to-image creation and prompt-based image editing through one API endpoint. Uni-1 ranks first in human preference Elo ratings for overall quality, style and editing, and reference-based generation. It is available through the Luma API and Luma Agents platform.
