Quick Tip: Creating Still Camera Shots in Ray2 and Ray3
Ray2 and Ray3 are designed for dynamic, cinematic movement—but sometimes you need the camera to stay perfectly still while your scene animates (a flickering birthday cake, static nature scenes with moving elements, festive table settings, etc.).

Here's how to lock your camera in place:
Three Effective Prompts

Secret Prompt #1: still camera shot of...

Secret Prompt #2: locked viewpoint of...

Secret Prompt #3: fixed viewpoint of...

These phrases tell Ray2/Ray3 to keep the camera stationary while allowing scene elements to move naturally—flames flickering, leaves rustling, fabric flowing, etc.

Pro Tip: Combine these camera lock phrases with specific scene animation details for best results. Example: "Fixed viewpoint of a birthday cake with flickering candles and gentle smoke rising"
