The error 'generation failed' is not very common, but encountering it means that for whatever reason, the requested generation could not be completed.

Why Does a Generation Fail?

A failed generation can happen due to a few different factors:

  • Service Issues: This includes outages, maintenance, or interruptions from third-party services.
  • Moderation Filter: Your prompt or input image may have triggered the content moderation filter. In this case, you should change your image and prompt and try again.

What Happens to My Credits?

The good news is that you will not lose credits for a failed generation.

  1. Deduction: Credits are initially deducted when a generation job starts.
  2. Refund: If the generation fails at any point after starting, the credits are automatically refunded to your account.
  3. Update Time: Please note that it may take a few minutes for the credit counter on your account to update with the refunded amount.
