What happens with my credits if one of my generation fails?

Automatic Refunds for Failed Generations

We've implemented an automatic credit refund system to ensure you're never charged for generations that don't complete successfully. If your generation fails for any reason - whether due to a technical error, server issue, or system malfunction - your credits will be automatically returned to your account balance.

This process happens behind the scenes without requiring any action on your part. The refund is processed immediately upon detection of the failure, ensuring your credits are available for your next attempt.

Checking Your Updated Balance

After a failed generation, you may need to refresh your browser page to see the updated credit balance reflected in your account. The refund itself is instant, but your browser cache may display the previous balance until you reload the page.

To check your updated balance:

  1. Refresh your browser page (F5 or Ctrl+R on most browsers)
  2. Navigate to your account dashboard
  3. Verify that your credits have been restored

Important Exception: Completed Then Deleted Generations

There is one important exception to our refund policy that users should be aware of. If a generation was successfully completed and then subsequently deleted by you, the credits used for that generation will not be refunded.

This policy exists because the generation process was completed successfully, the system used computational resources to create your content, and the deletion was a user choice rather than a system failure. The credits were legitimately consumed during the successful generation process.
